They are diploblastic, their body is built up of two cellular layers, an outer ectoderm and inner endoderm, enclosing in between a structure less mesogloea formed of jelly- like structure
There is a single cavity to the body, the entron or gastrovascular
Cavity, with one opening to the exterior, the mouth, acts as an anus at the same time.
