NASA has come out and confirmed that the Hubble Space Telescope has found carbon dioxide (CO2) on a distant planet, leading many to believe that they may soon discover extraterrestrial life.
The finding of carbon dioxide is so important due to the fact that it is one of the byproducts of life.
With CO2 present, there is the possibility that it could lead to biological activity, the same way it does on the planet Earth.
